AEI Electronics operates the well known industry standard IPC-A-610 and ensures all assembled products meet these criteria.

Our methods for manufacture meet with those detailed within IPC J-STD 001 whilst handling, storage and preservation of materials meet the requirements of both BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 Electrostatic Sensitive Devices and J-STD-033, J-STD-020 for Moisture Sensitive Materials.

Our conformal coating activities meet with Mil-I-46058C and guidance from IPC-HDBK-830 as well as adhering to commercial and military specifications in PCB Assembly rework and repair standards IPC 7721/7711. Our adopted workmanship standard is IPC-A-610 which works hand in hand with our training policy; all our production staff undergo continual self assessment and formal IPC training both externally and in house. Each of our CeMs also hold certification for ISO9001:2008.

Across our Group Companies we also utilise a quality policy, manual and procedures to specify the systems and processes to successfully operate, assuring our commitment and competence to our customers. As such, our Quality Management System (QMS) and its key performance indicators are regularly reviewed as part of our Management Review Process, ensuing continual improvement of the effectiveness of the QMS.
